The job description says I’ll be based in the office in the US but I’d like to work remotely.
Yes, you can do this. We do have a few people who work remotely for us.
You do need to be able to communicate with the team in the US, though. If you are not able to do this, you may not be able to work remotely.
You can also do this from your home country, if you have a good internet connection.
If you are going to be working from home, you will need to be in a quiet environment, as you will be working at a desk for long periods of time.

It is extremely important to have trust in your team and your company. You need to trust that they will deliver what they say they will deliver.
If you don’t trust your team, you are going to be in a bad position.
