Remote work at General Electric
Does General Electric allow remote workers?
It’s a question that has been asked since the beginning of time. The answer, of course, is that it depends.
Some companies, like Google and Amazon, allow remote workers to work from home. Others, like Microsoft, have a policy that requires employees to be in an office.
And then there are companies that have no such policy, and that allow employees to work from home, if they choose to.
General Electric, the world’s largest manufacturer, is one such company.
For the past year, I’ve been working remotely for GE. I’ve been in Connecticut, but I have access to all of the tools and resources I need to do my job, and to work from home.
I’ve also been able to keep my family in California, and I’ve been able to keep my family in Connecticut, all without having to relocate.
My job is a combination of writing and doing research, so I spend a lot of time in the office. But I also spend a lot of time in the office doing things like preparing presentations, and talking to customers and clients.
I can do those things from home, or from the office, or even from a local Starbucks.
As a result, I’m able to work from home some days, and from the office on others.
Can General Electric employees work remotely?
The answer is yes, but not all of them.
Employees in the United States can now work remotely from home. The US government has granted a waiver to General Electric (GE) so that its employees can work from home. The company is not the first to receive such a waiver, but it is the largest.
On March 21, the US Department of Labor announced that it has granted General Electric a waiver to allow its employees to work from home. The waiver was issued under the Telework Enhancement Act of 2008, which allows federal agencies to grant waivers to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) so that employees can work from home. The law was signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2008.
The FLSA states that employers must pay employees overtime for hours worked over 40 hours a week. The law also states that employers must provide employees with one hour of paid leave for every hour they work.
The Department of Labor waived the one-hour-for-every-hour rule for companies with fewer than 500 employees, and the 40-hour-a-week rule for companies with fewer than 100 employees. The Department of Labor waived the 40-hour-a-week rule for companies with fewer than 500 employees because the majority of the companies in that category have fewer than 100 employees.
Does GE allow remote work?
The answer is yes, but it is not as easy as it sounds.
It is not easy to work from home, especially if you are a remote worker.
You are not just limited to working from home.
You are also limited by your home office.
If you work from home, you need to be comfortable working from home.
