A look at the changing nature of college basketball, with some interesting trends
It’s been a little while since I wrote an article about college basketball. The last one I wrote was about the ACC Tournament and I’ve been thinking a lot about college basketball lately.
I’ve been watching a lot of college basketball on the internet, and I’ve noticed a few trends that I’d like to share with you.
The first thing I’d like to address is the trend of the state of college basketball in the United States.
The NCAA Tournament has become a national event. There are now schools that have a legitimate chance to win the national title every year. This is something that’s never been the case before.
This is great for the fans, but it’s not so great for the schools that are in the bottom half of the rankings. The lower ranked schools don’t get a chance to play the top teams in the country. This is a trend that’s only going to continue.
I’m not saying that these schools are going to go extinct. I’m just saying that there are going to be more and more schools that are going to be able to compete for the national title every year.
This is a trend that’s going to continue.
How long does it take to become a boilermaker?
This can vary a bit depending on the level of the apprenticeship you start at. I am a third year and I am in the process of getting my final qualification, but I have been working for two years at the same place (Boilers and Pressure Vessels) and I have been working for a year and a half in a different place (Piping).
The difference between the two is that the first place is a “trade” and the second is a “technical college”. The first place is a trade because it is a trade school, whereas the second is a technical college because it is a school with a trade attached. The trade is boilermaking, and the technical college is Piping.
A trade school can take anywhere from 1 year to 3 years to complete, but a technical college usually takes about 2 years. You will have to complete a certain number of days (usually about 150 days) to be able to apply for your final qualification. This qualification is called the “Apprenticeship Certificate” and is the minimum requirement for the trade. This is usually taken at the end of the 2nd year. If you have completed the 2nd year, you can then apply for the apprenticeship certificate.
So, depending on where you start, it can take anywhere from 1 year to 3 years to complete.
